Nations take steps to revive climate treaty

Good news ladies and gents — the U.S. is going green.

According to an alert I just received from The New York Times, "In a dramatic turnaround, the U.S. agreed to a compromise that sets a two-year timetable for reviving an ailing, aging treaty on global climate change after two weeks of intense and at times emotional talks among the world's countries in Bali, Indonesia." I don't know about you guys, but I'd love to see this happen.

I don't have all the details yet, but this seems very exciting! I'll let you know as I have more information, but feel free to leave me a comment in the meantime. What do you think about green initiatives? Are they a good thing or a hopeless waste of time?
